Music Production Program
The Lodge Studios is now offering: Introduction to Pro Tools
The Lodge Academy's Music Production Class is an 8 week course that teaches a detailed overview of the entire music production process. This class will provide students with the skills and knowledge to record, mix, and produce music Each week the students and the instructor will discuss key concepts, methods and techniques to facilitate and implement music production. Additionally the students will receive extensive hands on training with professional equipment in a professional world class recording studio.
Throughout the 8 week course students will work collectively to record tracks that will be used for individual projects. Students will also compose, manipulate and create sounds using MIDI in addition to their recorded tracks, Upon finishing all the necessary audio and MIDI tracks, students will mix and produce their own project which will be evaluated by the instructor and fellow students.
Because of some take home assignments, students will be required to purchase their own version of Pro Tools 13 and bring their Iloc to class.
