Nate has had a passion for music since early childhood, forming his first rock band at age 11; he quickly developed a love for engineering while creating demo tapes with his 4 track recorder. This love stuck with him through high school as he experimented with different recording techniques and educated himself on the physics of sound. After graduating from Vincennes University with a degree in audio recording, Nate continued to record local bands around Indianapolis as a freelance engineer. Also an active musician, Nate has played and toured in many Midwest bands and released several self produced albums. He can currently be seen playing bass in indie-rock group Hey Hey Melodica.

After joining The Lodge Recording Studios as a freelance engineer in 2006, Nate continued to work on dozens of projects covering a broad range of musical genres both as an engineer and a producer. Nate has also crafted countless numbers of voice-overs for radio and TV and is no stranger to incorporating Phone-patch, ISDN, VOIP, and Video Conferencing into his sessions.

Also running live sound, Nate has built a lengthy resume with a number of great artists and high profile speakers who have passed through the Circle City. Running FOH at Locals Only, Old Bethel UMC, Zionsville UMC, and University Place Conference Center at IUPUI, he has had a hand in it all. There is no doubt that Nate will bring the same skills, experience and dedication to your project that he has brought to so many others.

No stranger to the struggle of free-lance production and studio engineering, Kut has spent many years sharpening his tools. While keeping his hands in numerous projects throughout the mid-west, he has gathered a healthy status of clientele. As he continues to fatten his resume to the point of obesity, he is quickly solidifying a name for himself throughout the mid-west region. With Kold Kut's uncanny ability to tailor-fit sonic landscapes to individual artist's personal styles, he is truly a display of pure versatility. With melodic motifes melted over his own brand of thick drum patterns, Kold Kut is sure to define the sound of Indiana Hip-Hop.
